Film faced plywood is a type of engineered wood product specifically designed for construction applications, particularly those involving concrete.

Regular plywood is composed of thin sheets of wood (veneers) glued together. Film faced plywood takes this a step further by adding a special resin-coated film layer (usually phenolic or melamine) to one or both surfaces. This film enhances the plywood's resistance to moisture, wear and tear, chemicals, and even mold.

Before the edges are painted, our workers fill the edges with putties and phenolic glue. Then waterproof paint is sprayed on the putties to make sure the edges are perfectly sealed.

When you cut the plywood at the job site, make sure that the workers will seal the cut edges before concrete is poured.
