At 9:00 AM on October 13th, after 18 hours of intermittent work, a giant butterfly-shaped dome was slowly lifted to a height of 97.4 meters, marking the successful completion of the dome lift for Building No. 1 of the "Sun Hotel·Crystal Plaza" project in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, the world's largest spherical building, constructed by China Fifth Metallurgical Construction Group. The Sun Hotel is a 19-story spherical hotel building, 98.7 meters high and 97.2 meters in diameter. Its arched roof is a single-layer spherical reticulated shell structure with a maximum span of 58.8 meters. Upon completion, it will become the world's largest spherical building. Cold-rolled coils from the continuous annealing line at the cold rolling mill are being shipped from the warehouse to the dock. Since the beginning of the year, the mill has achieved breakthroughs in both production and quality through research and development, including optimizing annealing temperatures for CQ-grade products, upgrading the skin-pass mill's purge system, and developing burner and roller management systems. The unit's peak monthly output has exceeded 120,000 tons, and the product contract rate has been reduced to 0.94%.
